Gorgeous Women’s Size Navajo Serape: Circa 1870: 60″ X 34″: BEW 289



This is a beautiful Circa 1870 Women’s Navajo Serape with all cochineal, bayeta and flannel. Circa 1870 Small Women’s Navajo Serape. Made out of aniline dyed bayetta (flannel) , cochineal/lac dyed bayetta, homespun Indigo Blue, Homespun natural white, homespun rabbit brush yellow, three ply yellow and green, likely aniline. There is a mild fade to the red aniline color on one side, otherwise most of the color is crisp.¬† There has been minor repair to some of the warp strings, but the weft material is 100 percent original.
